Materials/
care

Each listing states the metal used in the earring post or hook. Those with sensitivities can swap brass for gold platted hooks if needed. Tarnishing can occur with brass. To really reduce natural oxidation avoid exposing your jewelry to excessive moisture. You can also store your jewelry in a sealed container or plastic bag. A polishing cloth like Sunshine Polishing Cloths work great. If for some reason your hide earring is folded for an extended period of time and a kink occurs, it can be easily straightened out with an iron or flat iron. Straighten in the direction of the hide.
